Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why should I use DMS?
Utility tariffs change frequently based on market demand and competition and with a wide range of utility providers now offering services to the Irish market, it can be difficult to make sense of the environment. At DMS, our experienced team of utility brokers, armed with the latest market intelligence, provide you with real time access to the most competitive utility rates, providing you with choice and flexibility that will optimise your cost savings.
2. Does DMS work on behalf of an energy supplier?
No. We work for you. We offer a completely independent service which means we can source the most competitive quotes for your needs.
3. Will I have to pay extra fees?

No. This service is completely free, whether you decide to switch or not.

4. How easy is the process?
Comparing other deals and switching with us is easy. Simply give us a few details and we will be able to offer you a range of different energy deals, tailored to you. From there, we will handle the switching process.
5. Do I have to switch provider to take advantage of cost savings?
Traditionally customers were compelled to change their provider if they wanted to make savings on their utility bills. Today that is not always the case and, with DMS, you can take advantage of cost savings without having to switch providers. Also with our service, there is no obligation to switch once we have found a range of deals. The decision is completely up to you.
6. Who reads my meter?

ESB Networks are scheduled to read your meter every 3 to 4 months. They pass the information to the energy supplier for billing purposes. These are known as ‘actual reads’. Where the energy supplier don’t receive a meter reading from ESB Networks, the energy supplier will estimate your bill. However, we actively encourage our customers to submit a meter reading every month as this ensures that your bills are as accurate as possible. You can find out how to submit your meter reading right here.
